Walter graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1994, where he received a degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate and Investments. After Graduation, Walter returned to his hometown of Macon, Georgia, and worked his way up through the ranks at First Liberty Bank. He then moved to Fairfield Financial in 1996. Walter remained with Fairfield Financial for three years and, in 1999, joined GE Capital Mortgage Company selling private mortgage insurance.

Walter started Midtowne Mortgage in early 2001 and enjoys working every day to help people reach their financial goals. He finds himself in a unique position, often working with the same family on multiple loans over the years. The most rewarding part of his day is helping someone eventually purchase their dream home. Walter has twin boys, and enjoys all of the excitement and entertainment that they bring.

Ellen Brown has a long history of helping people. She retired from the Social Security Administration after 25 years of service. She began her real estate career with Sheridan Solomon & Kernaghan, where she was a top producer for 11 years. Ellen has been in mortgage lending for 25 years of which 22 years have been with Midtowne Mortgage. Her specialty is working with first-time home buyers. She is a member of Martha Bowman Methodist Church and serves as Chairman of the Architectural Control Committee at Lokchapee Landing.

Chéri graduated from Mercer University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in both Management and Marketing. After graduation, she worked as an Employee Benefits Specialist with AFLAC, working with companies all over Georgia to select health care plan offerings for their employees. Shortly thereafter, Chéri purchased a retail store, In Good Taste, and enjoyed selling baskets, gifts and invitations for 10 years. This business propelled her into a fun side-business of Event Planning and enjoyed many years directing large events and weddings in the Middle Georgia Area.

LaShanda graduated from Middle Georgia State University (formally Macon State College) in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. In addition to being a Mortgage Loan Officer she also works as a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist at Robins Air Force Base where she has been employed for over 24 years. Being a expert in quality assurance and the mortgage industry will allow her the skills and expertise to meet all of the clients borrowing needs. She is passionate about educating clients in the home-buying process while finding them the best loan program. When LaShanda is not busy with work she enjoys attending live music concerts, exploring different cuisines and traveling.
